About 90 km from Khao Lak is Southern Thailand's largest national park, Khao Sok, in the dense rain forest lives an incredibly wildlife, it is also here you can find the enormous Cheow Lan Lake, with is located inside Khao Sok National Park. This lake is famous for its fantastic fishing, for the aggressive predator fish, the Giant Snakehead and Hampala Barb, and in the clear jungle rivers of Cheow Lan Lake you can find world class fly fishing for the strong Thai Mahseer.
